AlpineRoster ("the App") is a personal utility tool designed for outdoor enthusiasts to organize their companion profiles, log trips, and save route information. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

AlpineRoster does not collect any personal data. The App operates entirely offline and does not communicate with any external servers, APIs, or cloud services.
Data Storage
All data you enter into the App — including partner profiles, trip logs, route records, and personal notes — is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This data is:
- Stored exclusively on your device's local storage
- Not transmitted to any server or third party
- Not backed up to any cloud service by the App
- Accessible only through the App on your device
Types of Information Stored Locally
The App allows you to store the following types of information on your device:
- Companion names, contact details, and skill levels
- Emergency contact information
- Trip details including locations, dates, and activity metrics
- Route information including locations and difficulty ratings
- Personal notes and images associated with companions
Third-Party Services
AlpineRoster does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not use cookies, beacons, or similar tracking technologies.
Data Export
The App provides a PDF export feature that generates a document on your device. This document is shared using your device's native sharing capabilities. AlpineRoster does not control or monitor how you choose to share the exported file.
Data Deletion
You can delete any individual record (partner, trip, route, or note) directly within the App. Uninstalling the App from your device will permanently remove all data stored by the App.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children. The App stores only the data that users voluntarily enter.
