Frequently Asked Questions

How do I record a welding session?

Open the Pulse tab and tap the + button in the top right corner. Fill in your arc parameters (amperage, voltage, wire speed), material details, and quality score, then tap Save.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings → Export Data and choose which data set to export (Sessions, Competitions, or Archive). The app generates a PDF and opens your device's share sheet so you can save or send it.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No. ArcVanta works entirely offline. All data is stored locally on your device.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual records by swiping left on them, or go to Settings → Clear All Data to remove everything. Uninstalling the app will also delete all data.

What welding types are supported?

ArcVanta supports MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), Flux-Cored (FCAW), and Multi-Process entries.

How does the daily goal work?

The Pulse screen shows a breathing ring animation that fills as you log sessions throughout the day. It tracks your progress toward a daily session target.

Can I switch between metric and imperial units?

Yes. Go to Settings → Units and select your preferred measurement system. You can also switch gas flow units between L/min and CFH.

How is my data kept private?

All data is stored in a local database on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any information on external servers. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
