Data Storage
All data created within Windtide is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This includes:
- Wind speed and gust recordings
- Training session records
- Route information
- App preferences and settings
Your data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
Data Sharing
The only way data leaves your device is when you explicitly choose to export a PDF report using the share function. This is entirely under your control, and the exported file is shared only with the recipients you choose.
Third-Party Services
Windtide does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. The app functions entirely offline.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time through the Settings page within the app. Additionally, uninstalling the app will remove all stored data from your device.
Children's Privacy
Windtide does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect any personal information from any user regardless of age.
